Freedom of choice

I wanted to make an allegory, a parody of today's society, of our unconscious abuse of technology and communication, so much so that we can no longer distinguish between real problems or priorities and futile and needless things.
I trivially represented a habit we can no longer give up, the world of social media and chats. I invented an intriguing dialogue whereby pets have become accustomed to living in constraint since they have never known true freedom.
Apparently having everything to survive, what can they be arguing about? An extremely trivial thing, the unbecoming names that they have been given.
